Liverpool has picked up quite a reputation as one of the most exciting cities in the UK and it’s no surprise why.

Thanks to an exciting amount of development and a number of prestigious awards the world is finally seeing Liverpool’s beauty.

There are a number of reasons to visit Liverpool, it may be the incredible nightlife, the two absolutely stunning cathedrals, the friendly locals or the large number of historic landmarks which are dotted all around this city there is something for every type of visitor.

The city’s waterfront recently won ‘The Greatest Place in England’ awarded by RTPI and there are plenty of reasons why. RTPI said “the regeneration has transformed this area into a vibrant place and a cherished place for locals and visitors alike. There is a great degree of pride in Liverpool for this place.”

The city is home to two of the most beautiful cathedrals which are both bookends to Hope Street which is where the famous Philharmonic Hall is located.

There are a number of stunning parks in Liverpool including Sefton Park which has a number of lakes and tree lined paths which make for a beautiful romantic walk, walk with the dog or nice ride around in Spring on one of the many CityBikes.

The city is also famed for its footballing history and for being home to two premiership football clubs; Liverpool FC and Everton FC. There is a healthy rivalry between the two and I guarantee you’ll be asked whether you’re a blue (Everton) or a red (Liverpool). There isn’t anything like it on Darby Day so make sure you’re visiting around then to really get a feel of Liverpool life.

However, if you’re not into football then maybe one of Liverpool’s many museums or theatres will be more appealing to you. There are a total of five theatres all within the city centre and nine museums meaning there is something for everyone. From the famous Beatles museum to the well-known Tate which is located on Albert Dock you can be assured you won’t be stuck for something to do.

Nightlife in Liverpool has greatly improved with the development of the city, there are a number of areas in the city which boast an incredible array of bars & club serving many drinks and offering a different vibe.

As tourism has picked up in Liverpool, the number of hotels has also greatly increased yet the quality of Liverpool hotels has stayed consistently high.

If you’re visiting Liverpool for a party weekend such as a hen or stag party and looking for somewhere to stay during your trip then Signature Living is the perfect Hen hotel.

The fun, themed luxury apartments are perfect for large group accommodation as they can sleep up to 48 people and some apartments even come with their own private pool, dance floor and bar.
