If you have a vacation or business trip scheduled for the Grapevine area of Dallas/Ft Worth, TX, count yourself lucky. After your business day ends, you’ll have plenty of things to do to enjoy yourself and tons of options for delicious food. The Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX metro offers some of the loveliest places to stay, as well.

You’ve Got to Eat

Even if you only drive into town for a day you can enjoy the tasty food that Dallas/Ft Worth offers. This southwestern metro has it all, from BBQ to Mexican to vegan fare. If you want an all-American meal, try Hard Eight BBQ or Mac’s on Main. You are in luck if you need to stay overnight. The metro area offers numerous places to stay convenient to the airport and the interstates. Most airport locations of Grapevine hotels offer free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Things to Do

While you may be tempted to remain at the hotel, the Dallas/Ft. Worth area includes many local attractions. The town of Grapevine and the neighborhood near the hotels provide plenty to do including shopping, museums, concerts and outdoor pursuits.

You’ll be just a few blocks away from the diverse shopping at Grapevine Mills, a large outlet mall. If you want to learn something new, explore the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Grapevine Vintage Railroad, or Sea Life Grapevine. These three options are entertaining for children and adults, alike. AT&T Stadium plays host to a constant stream of big-name concerts catering to fans of many musical genres such as country, rock, pop, and heavy metal. The athletic or outdoorsy types can choose from golfing at the Grapevine Golf Course or boating, hiking, picnicking, and swimming at Grapevine Lake. If your trip includes some downtime over the weekend, try Grapevine Wine Tours, which includes a wine tasting component.

Visiting Grapevine

Whether you visit for business or vacation, Grapevine provides numerous things to do with your day. From fine dining to interactive museums, the metro area affords a plethora of activities. Sea Life Grapevine crosses a museum with a zoo for animal lovers. By choosing an airport hotel, you don’t even need to rent a car. You’ll be within walking or Uber distance of most of Grapevine’s activities.
