Devon is a county in the South-Western part of England and is home to over 1 million people. Aside from its usual residents, Devon also welcomes vast numbers of holiday makers to the UK tourist hotspot every year. Devon is so popular amongst holiday tourists that it is even competing with some warmer holiday destinations such as Gran Canaria. Due to the many lovely locations, it can be quite overwhelming to decide where to stay, are you looking for; a sea break? a surf break? a place for rambling? or even a place for some family fun? Luckily Devon has perfect places for whatever type of holiday you are after.

Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park:

Located in Sandy Lane, this park is packed with fun, enjoyment and relaxation. It overlooks the Woolacombe beach and has amazing facilities for all ages. The Pig at Combe:

This is located in Otter Valley. The setting of this hog is informal but explicit and it reminds you of a Manor. They are known for their foods as there is a lot of that. It is located in the countryside to give you the perfect view of grasses, trees and gardens. The air around is fresh and clean, perfect for meditation and yoga.

Weeke Barton: 

This is a medieval long house and it is located on the Eastern side of Dartmoor.  It has a Rural and Urban look perfectly blended to give you a fresh and nostalgic feel. It is a 5 bedroom guest house with a cosy lounge, a sociable-free and easy atmosphere, and even communal dining. It is owned and run by two ex-Londoners who decided to move to a quieter place and own a guest house.

Bovey Castle:

Bovey Castle is located in Dartmoor National park and it is a location for the exquisite and the higher budget holiday. It is a grand stretch of land on a sporting estate and it caters for every whim, whether it is Fox hunt, outdoor pursuit, fine dining and pampering services.

5. Keynedon Mills

Located in Kingsbridge, South Hams, Keynedon Mills is an old mills factory turned into a place of delight and wonder. It is furnished in a rustic French style with the feel of two cultures in one place. It is modest but inviting with an amazing breakfast experience and a warmth that makes you feel right at home.

6. Lympstone Manor

This is a celebrity destination hotel that screams class. It is the most exciting house in Britain in decades. It is home to BBC Great British Menu icon Michael Caines MBE.
