Komodo National Park is an extremely popular destination for Indonesian holiday makers and travellers. It is located on the island of Borneo and is one of the most well known Indonesian islands. It is a very popular tourist destination due to its amazing natural attractions and the local culture that has remained intact through the years. In recent years it has gained popularity worldwide as a top destination for travel and holiday.

The park comprises of the three largest islands in Indonesia namely, Komodo, Borneo and Rinca. The island’s name was inspired by a legendary story that says a dragon moved to Borneo from Java and stayed there, spreading its wings and making it a place of universal fame and legend. These islands are home to many different animal species including the splendid red-back spiders and the flying monkeys, which are found all over the island. Other fascinating creatures include the green iguana, flying albatross, blue heron and the giant palm tree that can grow up to 60 feet high.

The most famous resident of the komodo national park is the komodo dragon. The unique animal has distinctive features and one of its most prominent characteristics is its unique call. The length and loudness of the call can be heard throughout the islands and it is said to scare away birds which would otherwise eat its eggs. The islands were famous for their great coral reefs and because of them, snorkeling was developed and popularized here. You can now enjoy this activity even if you are not on a boat because there are now boats available that offer snorkeling too. The waters surrounding the islands are full of tropical fish and other forms of marine life that are extremely common and also eat the algae that are usually found in the water. Many resorts offer snorkeling and diving packages and most of them are located near resorts that offer these services.

Another great opportunity for tourists in the komodo national park is rafting. This is also the best time to go hiking as the trails are easy to follow and the scenery is simply breathtaking. The best time to go rafting in the islands in the komodo dragon Islands is during the rainy season. During this time, the water levels rise considerably and this makes it easier to enjoy a good time rafting. You can also visit the islands whenever the ripples become large enough to paddle through them.
